We have 3 jobs working with our Heritage Assets (Museum, Haylmore, Cemetery, Church) along with other tasks that benefit the Bridge River Valley.
Each job will be 30 hours per week, pay range $12 and $17/hour, offer will very much depend on skills and experience. Some weekend work will be needed.
You must be between 15 and 30 and returning to school in the fall.
We will tailor the job to skill sets and experience so if you’re young or a senior university student please apply.

Fire, First Aid & Bear Aware Training
The training this year will include:
S100 May 28/29 2016- for those who are new or have not kept up with re-certification volunteers can sign up here , non- computer people are welcome to come into the office for help.
S100A- for those who have a current S100- Must be done before May 31st, 2016 to receive funding
S115 Structural Protection May 7th
OFA Level one and Transportation Endorsement Group Training for WCB Occupational Level One & Transportation Endorsement First Aid with CPR A and AED – Probably June 18th and 19th.
Bear Aware Backcountry Bear Safety Awareness Course for and field workers and volunteers – June 4th. This is a for field training – this is for the safety of volunteer and field persons and not a general public session. It goes into graphic detail to ensure personal safety. There will be a broader recreation focused/public session at some other time.
Places on these courses are based on a first come first served basis after any local Fire Groups have used their allocation, you will be contacted to confirm your place within 2 weeks of the deadline.

Haylmore Heritage Site and Rock Wall Gallery reopens May Long Weekend
Celebrate the opening of the Rock Wall Gallery and Haylmore Heritage Site with a Rhubarb Bake Off and Farmer’s Market.
Sunday – May 22, Noon to 4. Bring your rhubarb goodies to enter the Bake Off
