Summer Employment

Committee Treasurers
Both the Bralorne Community Advisory Committee and the Gun Lake Boat Launch are currently looking for committee treasurers. Volunteer time is about 1 hr/month plus meetings. Keep in mind BRVCA has an overall Treasurer that looks after many of the functions financially. Please have a read of the role description at the attached link – basically if you can use a spreadsheet and have some basic understanding of budgets, invoices,etc. you can fill this role.

Mountain Telegraph digital & print subscriptions
The digital edition is $45 for 10 editions (a year) and will be link protected. Each subscription will be able to sign up two email addresses. A mailed print subscription will continue to be available at $70 for 10 editions (a year). The Mountain Telegraph is available for $4/edition at locations in the Valley and is also distributed at no charge to everyone who has a mail box in Gold Bridge. Makes a great gift too! Community Futures Wildfire Business Transition Program Business
Community Futures is offering a Self-Directed Training Program intended to help businesses and not-for-profits (organizations) impacted by the 2017 wild fire season to identify their training needs and provide financial and advisory support to meet those needs. This is free training for businesses impacted by the 2017 fires due to loss of access and revenue and applies to Bridge River Valley businesses and organizations.
